THE COOL BLUE ENERGY

INSIGHTS DISCOVERY, COOL BLUE – THE INDIVIDUAL

The cool Blue energy is an observer, whether it be factually or weighing up complex solutions with people and being able to remain objective and detached as it will be based on data.  They have a strong sense of duty and will not make flippant quick decisions as the Insights Discovery Cool Blue is a cautious, precise and analytical thinker and worker.  As an individual they have a common sense approach to a task and will logically deal with a complex problem in an orderly way. Procedures, systems and data bursting with facts and figures do not scare them as this is their preferred way of working.  They have an independent and conscientious way of working where information and data will be taken away and thoroughly analysed.  Their disciplined orderly manner leads to a list of tasks for the day, week and month, so a systematic way of working can be carried out. Detailed accurate reports, spreadsheets and emails are a positive attribute and their preferred way of communicating plus emails as they do not like casual unrecorded conversations.

INSIGHTS DISCOVERY – COOL BLUE ON A BAD DAY

As they have an ability to remain detached and objective, they can park their emotions to one side.  This can come across as cold and at times, not friendly and closed off, making them non approachable.  Due to their attention to detail, it may be seen as a weakness or frustration to others, especially the outgoing Sunshine Yellow who can be hasty or the Fiery Red who can be impatient.  This strength can then become a flaw to others making them indecisive as it’s seen they cannot make quick decisions.  There may be a natural resistance to a task if pushed in to making a decision without the required information and their questioning for the lack of facts could be seen as ‘nit picking’.
